Zero Motorcycles
I'm thinking of going green! What do you'all think about the up and coming electric bikes?
I don't think it will be long before these bikes are out running the traditional bikes!

Re: Zero Motorcycles
I am not sure riders will ever get over their love affair with the sound of a gas motorcycle. That is part of the allure for many.

Re: Zero Motorcycles
I think EL is right about the sound...other then that hell I like it. For cruising around town that's cool. I'd get one.
I must be a short, looking at the specs on one:
Dimensions
Wheel base 56.6 inches (1438 mm)
Seat height (standard) 33.1 inches (841 mm) 32.8 inches (832 mm)
Low seat height (accessory) 31.1 inches (790 mm) 30.8 inches (781 mm)
Rake 23.1 degrees
Trail 3.0 inches (76 mm)
That's too tall for me. Think mine is about 27" and it allows me to plant both my feet on the earth fine; but with those specs above I think I'd be a 1 footer. Almost like you need to be at least 6'0 for one of those.
I'm willing to bet those electric motors will keep up just fine with a gasser.
