JEA worker shocked and fall from bucket
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —
A JEA worker is reportedly shocked and knocked from his bucket truck.
It happened while a line maintainer while moving services from once secondary line to another on Hamilton Street on the Westside just before 10 this morning.
"When he did come in contact with one of the secondary lines, he was knocked out of the bucket truck. He fell between 15 and 30 feet," says Gerri Boyce with JEA.
Boyce says she's still getting confirmation on that number, but reports says the man was conscious and alert after he was shocked and fell from the bucket.
The worker has been with JEA for six years and was transported to a local hospital.
