OSHA Rules First Energy at Fault in Employee Death
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued a ruling on an accident that killed a man at its Harrison Power Station in Sept. 2011.
OSHA ruled the plant's owner, First Energy, is at fault in the death of Ned Johnson of Rivesville.
It ruled he died by getting crushed between a moving platform of a Rotary Plow Feeder and a standing guardrail. According to OSHA's report, First Energy allowed employees to work in an environment where the equipment could cause several fatal injuries.
Officials said First Energy contested the ruling and is now pursuing a settlement with OSHA

Re: First Energy at Fault
watch how this plays out.... first energy will appeal the ruling and drag it out for a few more years. eventually they'll reach a conclusion and the company will get a silly little fine.
Osha is a joke... they do just enough to make themselves seam justified. they're rediculously under-staffed and politically steered there no longer usefull.
