What have you characters been up to lately? Now that summer is coming to a close and we all slowly go back in to hibernation mode (especially for our northern yankee friends...haha)

Get anything done while it was nice? Think BC Boy finally got a foot stuck in the door for his dream job

After finishing up my summer job in fleet srvc at the end of August, been sittin around waiting and waiting for pre-apprentice to post-up and whatta ya know? All of a sudden I get a call from the hall I've been hired back at the garage as a driver/helper on a 6 month contract, I start monday! Good way to keep that foot in the door workin with some great guys and get more experience till the pre-apps hire.....and the pay raise ain't bad either

Great news bc... Good job bro. You have your foot in the door. I have a feeling the next offer will be a pernament position

Ah even the pre-app is still a temp position, minimum of 6 months before you can apply on an apprenticeship, maximum of two years. Then I guess even an apprenticeship is technically a temp position too, once thats over THEN I can can apply for something permanent, only 5/6 more years to go! But enough about me, what have YOU GUYS been up to?

WOW this summer flew by!! To be honest after Austin passed I didn't know what we were gonna do with our time but fortunately (? ) the daughter took over as the main focus of our lives and kept us pretty dam busy!! Did a lot of camping, spending money, horse stuff, and oh ya more horse stuff! She's becoming quite the little cow girl. In-fact she just learned a hard lesson every horse lover has to go through once and a while, she lost her horse this morning do to old age. Poor thing got on the bus after sayin good morning to him and the wife saw him literally lay down and pass 5 minutes later! He was a good horse!

Anyway, not all us yanks hibernate Tex! Some of us like to play in the snow!! Gonna hopefully watch my little cowgirl shoot her first deer this year!

Hey BC good to see ya still hangin on! Eventually it'll finally open up for ya!
