Noticed that on March 20th OG&E power plant worker was killed at the Redbud plant which is East of OKC. Not many details yet except I think it was some kind of steam burn. He was a powerplant mechanic and in his 40's I believe.

The employee was tightening a cover on a boiler steam tube. He was on a ladder and fell when the cover blew. His death was thought to be caused by his head hitting something, perhaps the concrete floor. This is about all known at present. Not a scald death as I first speculated.
